An interim Heart of SHIMMER Champion was crowned today at SHIMMER when Hyan defeated both Rhia O’Reilly and Kris Statlander in a three-way match to win the title.
The originally Heart of SHIMMER Champion Samantha Heights suffered a torn ACL injury over the summer while touring with Japan. While recovering SHIMMER decided to hold a small tournament to crown an interim champion.
Kris Statlander defeated Marti Belle, Hyan defeated Brittany Blake, and Rhia O’Reilly defeated Veda Scott during yesterday’s two tapings to make it to the three-way finals of the tournament today.
Hyan now holds the Reality of Wrestling Diamond’s Division title and the interim Heart of SHIMMER title.
