RISE – developing tomorrow’s women athletes have added more names to the core RISE Roster.
At the conclusion of RISE 2, the roster began with six women: Phoenix of RISE Champion Delilah Doom, Dust, Britt Baker, Chelsea Green, Kikyo and Shotzi Blackheart. At RISE 3, we added Deonna Purrazzo and Jewells Malone. After RISE 5, the company added Jessica Troy, Charli Evans, Kylie and Zoe Lucas.
Aerial Monroe was added to the roster after standing toe-to-toe with SHIMMER Champion Nicole Savoy at RISE 6 – BRUTALITY and outlasting many others in a special Battle Royal at AWS Promotions on December 2nd and earlier today RISE announced a few more names joining the core roster.
Heather Monroe – In the short time between RISE 6 and the recent RISE on the Road – Austin, Heather has shown just how hard she’s been working to evolve as a performer, and now will be a permanent fixture in RISE. Rumor has it Heather is also looking to make a go in The Tag Team Awakening.
Ray Lyn – From The German Suplex of DOOM from Shayna Baszler at RISE 1 to being literally dragged about Berwyn by the hair by Saraya Knight at RISE 5, Ray Lyn has proven herself to be tenacious! Always entertaining in the ring, Ray Lyn is not a competitor to be taken lightly. Now, as one-half of Bones of Contention with partner Karen Q, Ray Lyn looks to make a big impression in The Tag Team Awakening with her partner despite their…minor differences of opinion…
Karen Q – Q walked through the curtain at RISE 5 and immediately commanded the attention of the audience. Fighting against three people at once is a challenge in and of itself, but holding one’s own with Saraya Knight is no small feat. Karen would move on to make further impressions in RISE-sanctioned matches preceding SHIMMER Volume 96 with her…somewhat reluctant tag team partner, Ray Lyn. Now, the ever-argumentative Bones of Contention are both on the roster, ready to make waves in The Tag Team Awakening.
Miranda Salinas – RISE fans met Miranda at the first RISE on the Road Seminar with Sabotage in October 2017. A month later, Miranda had earned the admiration of the Chicago fans, receiving an ovation for her tremendous effort after a targeted attack from Ray Lyn and Karen Q. Miranda’s efforts even earned a nod from Saraya Knight, a nod not easily earned by anyone. Miranda is currently in the midst of a tour with STARDOM in Japan and has been proving herself against some of the world’s best. Now, with Miranda on the roster and her tag team partner Kylie in Wily Smilies, she is surely a competitor to watch closely in the year ahead!
